The Indonesian Language Education Study Program at the Masters Program, Sanata Dharma University has included the Ecolinguistics course since its establishment in 2015. The purpose of this research was formulated as follow: Describe the feasibility of developing a Naturalistic Ecolinguistic learning model in the perspective of Green Ecology. The research and development steps follow the model proposed by Borg and Gall consisting of the following stages: a) The initial stage involves research and data collection by collecting relevant information to formulate a product design framework. b) The planning stage involves making a product development plan. c) The product draft development stage involves the initial development of the ecolinguistic learning model design. d) The initial field trial phase involved limited field trials to collect data to be used as a basis for product design revisions. e) The main product revision stage. f) The main field trial phase involves a wider trial of the ecolinguistic learning model design product. g) The product improvement stage based on field test results involves product design improvements based on input from field trials. h) The field implementation test phase involves testing the product design. i) The final product improvement stage. j) The dissemination and implementation phase focuses on disseminating the ecolinguistic learning model. The research results showed that 43% of respondents stated that it was suitable for use with revisions according to the notes and 57% of respondents stated that it was suitable for use without revisions. Thus, it can be concluded that the ecolinguistic learning model for the Indonesian Language Education Masters Program is feasible to implement without revision.
R. This second generation carries an Islamic narrative that is opposed to Communism. The narrative position of the Pemberontakan PKI Madiun 1948 is different from the G30S PKI 1965, in which the first PKI was the perpetrator, and the second PKI was the victim. The trauma narrative appears in the Ayat-Ayat yang Disembelih (2015) biography by Anaf Afifi and Thowaf Zuharon. The second generation lacks direct memory, which in Marianne Hirsch’s view, is postmemory. Accordingly, the theory used in this paper is Hirsch's postmemory, which believes that the second generation inherits trauma through investment in imagination, projection, and creation. The analytical method used is the methodological implications of postmemory theory with qualitative data. The pattern of the trauma narrative that emerges from the Islamic narrative to the PKI is; reflexive secondary first-person and mental transmission.
Joko Santoso, Faruk Faruk, Novi Siti Kussuji Indrastuti Copyright (c) 2023 Joko Santoso, Faruk, Novi Siti Kussuji Indrastuti https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/403 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Critical reading research and its implications for critical reading skills for Indonesian language teachers: A systematic literature review http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/500
The abundance of information sources is the result of rapid technological advances. Rapid technological advances must be balanced with reading skills, one of which is critical reading skills used to filter information sources. This systematic literature review aims to compare the findings of research articles published by the Science and Technology Index (SINTA). The keyword used to find articles in the SINTA database is "critical reading." The search results found 78 articles, then 23 articles were selected that met the criteria for analysis. The reporting items selected for the systematic literature review and meta-analysis were the inclusion and exclusion models. In the last ten years, the number of publications dominated in 2016 with six articles. The types of research used by researchers in reviewing critical reading skills are R & D, quantitative, qualitative, and CAR. The research subjects used by the researchers consisted of class X high school students, class VII junior high school students, class VIII junior high school students, fifth-grade elementary school students, and junior high school teachers. The publication and citation structure reveals that, out of 23 articles, they have been cited 114 times, with the 2016 publication having the most citations, a total of 46 times. Writers who have a track record of publications covering critical reading skills are (1) Nuria Reny Hariyati, (2) Hespi Septiana, and (3) Endah Tri Priyatni, all three of whom have a publication track record of 10 articles. The writing institutions are divided into two institutions, namely schools (13%) and colleges (87%), and the collaboration of writers shows a number that is quite far apart, where 14 authors collaborate and nine single authors. There are eight ideas for reflection by Indonesian teachers in teaching critical reading skills.

Arif Setiawan, Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, Fauzan Fauzan, Ganes Tegar Derana Copyright (c) 2023 Arif Setiawan, Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, Fauzan Fauzan, Ganes Tegar Derana https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/500 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000 A bibliometric analysis on “edu-technopreneurship” topic and chance on its development in language, literature, and literacy fields http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/502
The industrial revolution 4.0 era gives a huge challenge for higher education institutions. They are demanded to be able to produce skilled, competent, and creative graduates in competing their skill in regional, national, and international scopes. Edu-technopreneurship is an important issue necessarily conducted by higher education institutions to face this challenge. This study aimed to map a topic on edu-technopreneurship in scopus and a chance of its development in language, literature, and literacy fields. By using keywords of “education”, “technology”, and “entreprenership” in the scopus page, were found 1,383 documents discussing about these topics. These data were then analyzed quantitatively to see the developmental trend happening. Besides, a bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOS viewer to see the interrelation between documents. The result shows that studies on these topics have been frequently conducted and experiencing improvement significantly by the year. They are often related to economy, technique, technology, and education. However, they do not deal with langauge, literature, and literacy. It indicates that there is a big opportunity and challenge to study the “edu-technopreneurship” in language, literature, and literacy fields in the future.
Chafit Ulya, Ulfa Rizqi Putri , Bagus Wahyu Setyawan, Nur Samsiyah , Hespi Septiana, Toerhthangquor Shuvrangshu Joyotu Copyright (c) 2023 Chafit Ulya, Ulfa Rizqi Putri , Bagus Wahyu Setyawan, Nur Samsiyah , Hespi Septiana, Toerhthangquor Shuvrangshu Joyotu https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/502 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Assessment competence in Indonesian language learning of rural primary school teachers http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/510
This study aims to examine the vulnerability of primary school teachers in rural areas in conducting authentic and integrative assessments of Indonesian language learning. This research approach is a case study. The participants were 50 primary school teachers grade 5 in rural areas. Data were obtained through questionnaires, teacher-made assessment instruments, and interviews. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that most of the teachers did not understand the concept of authentic and integrative assessment in learning Indonesian. However, from an analysis of the assessment instrument he made, the teacher has applied the concept of authentic and integrative assessment because he copied from the teacher's book provided by the government. In practice, most teachers apply authentic and integrative assessment to receptive language skills (reading and listening), but only a small number apply them to productive skills (writing and speaking). The reason is insufficient time, the description of the score has ambiguous meaning, and the facilities at the school are not supportive. It is urgent to hold periodic training for teachers in rural areas to improve competence in assessing Indonesian subjects so that they no longer use the teacher's book as the only source of learning, including in assessment.
Sumarwati Sumarwati, Atikah Anindyarini, Edy Suryanto, Hadiyah Hadiyah, Sumaiyah Menjamin Copyright (c) 2023 Sumarwati Sumarwati, Atikah Anindyarini, Edy Suryanto, Hadiyah Hadiyah, Sumaiyah Menjamin https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/510 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Development of android-based learning media assisted by Thunkable Applications in literary history courses http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/514
The purpose of this study was to develop learning media for Android-based Literary History using thunkable applications in the independent learning-free campus era. This study applied the Research and Development method whose products were tested on students. Therefore media validation and material validation are needed before it is finally validated by the user. Research data collection uses a questionnaire so that it is known about the feasibility of the product in the form of thunkable application-assisted learning media. This study concluded that the total score of the combined validation questionnaire was 129 or 4.03 as the average. In other words, these results state the feasibility of android-based modern Indonesian literature learning media assisted by the thunkable application for use in teaching and learning activities in Literary History courses.
Fina Hiasa, Supadi Supadi, Emi Agustina , Meli Afrodita , Lazfihma Lazfihma, Nafri Yanti Copyright (c) 2023 Fina Hiasa, Supadi Supadi, Emi Agustina , Meli Afrodita , Lazfihma Lazfihma https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/514 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Educational game based on macromedia flash in Indonesian language learning in junior high school http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/521
Educational Game is an application package that is used as a tool that aims to encourage students to undergo learning activities. The objectives of this study are (1) to describe educational games based on Macromedia Flash for Indonesian language learning in junior high schools; and (2) to describe the results of implementing Macromedia Flash-based educational games with the Fisher Yates Shuffle algorithm in learning Indonesian in junior high schools. The data validity test was carried out using source triangulation technique. In connection with the research results based on eight indicators, it can be understood that the level of student activity in learning Indonesian based on educational games based on Macromedia Flash with the Fisher Yates Shuffle algorithm has increased. The percentage of 87% of students explained that the Macromedia Flash application based on the Fisher Yates Shuffle algorithm was able to increase student activity. This research encourages the integration of technology in the world of education. Flash-based games can offer interactive and dynamic content, enhancing the learning experience.
Ermira Nilansari Putri , Laili Etika Rahmawati, Main Sufanti, Hafiza Sana Mansoor Copyright (c) 2023 Ermira Nilansari Putri , Laili Etika Rahmawati, Main Sufanti, Hafiza Sana Mansoor https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/521 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000 A text criticism of Hikayat Si Miskin: A textological study of writing and use of letters http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/556
This research aim to describe a textological study of the issue of how the Hikayat Si Miskin manuscript text from the Harvad University - Houghton Library/ ms_Indo_18-METS collection was translated into handwritten Arabic-Malay script, the appearance of which is much different from the standard form of the letters of this script. This is the most important part in the textological study of the subfield of philology before the editing of texts from the old Malay Arabic-Malay script into Latin script is presented. His identity as the author is not included at the front of his work, but at the end of the manuscript called the colophon. The presentation of a text that has been cleaned of all writing errors paves the way for further study of the content of the text from various aspects related to the existence of the form and content of the text being studied, such as a study of the structural content of the text, a study of linguistic aspects, a study of social values. and culture, it is even possible to examine historical elements, because manuscripts are historical documents that describe the life systems and patterns of old society. The method used to discuss text issues and content that can be studied in various related scientific disciplines is the standard text criticism method, namely a philological method that attempts to re-present classical texts by criticizing and correcting corrupt texts. In accordance with the focus of the discussion which focuses on writing and visual text writing, the research results found writing irregularities and errors in writing lacunae, substitutions, additions, transpositions, dittography, and haplography. The most common writing errors are substitution errors.
Nurizzati Nurizzati, Hasanuddin WS, Zulfadhli Zulfadhli, Novia Juita, Muhammad Ismail Nasution, Hanifah Yulia Sari Copyright (c) 2023 Nurizzati Nurizzati, Hasanuddin WS, Zulfadhli, Novia Juita, Muhammad Ismail Nasution, Hanifah Yulia Sari https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/556 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000 Virtual post-soviet space: Russian language and transnational communities http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/532
This article explores linguistic and cultural ties in the informal Russian-speaking communities outside the Former Soviet Union (FSU). We employ qualitative methods, such as internet discourse monitoring, ethnographic observations, content and thematic analysis, and language assessments to examine a complex interplay between language, migration, and identity. We explore the role of a common language and cultural background in shaping the relationships and activities within the communicative sphere of Russian-speaking immigrants. The findings reveal that since the Soviet times, the FSU citizens have developed distrust of official channels and learned to rely on informal social networks. Sometimes immigrants activate their old friendships from study times, sometimes diasporans meet at language courses where they learn the local language, sometimes they get to know each other through children on the playground or during parents’ meetings at school. The virtual fora and mutual interests, aspirations for their children’s future, and attitudes toward political problems may unite or divide people who have left their home country. Overcoming difficulties of the first period of acculturation, acquiring proficiency in the local language/s, becoming familiar with the culture, and expanding social networks beyond the co-ethnics—all of these make permanent resettlement more realistic and desirable. Most often in each individual case there is a whole constellation of push factors that motivated people to migrate, and it is this constellation that distinguishes migrants from Russia and CIS countries from other groups. Although the very notion of diaspora has undergone major changes, migrants still tend to keep together with co-ethnics, at least in the first stages of life away from home. The transnational relations may be motivated by economic interests and are viewed as social capital. In many cases they are vehicles of solidarity and warmth, yet in the periods of political conflict they may also reflect distress, animosities and even mutual hate.
Maria Yelenevskaya, Ekaterina Protassova Copyright (c) 2023 Maria Yelenevskaya, Ekaterina Protassova https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/532 Mon, 30 Oct 2023 00:00:00 +0000 The changing existence of the image of women in Motinggo Busye's novels http://journal1.uad.ac.id/index.php/BAHASTRA/article/view/531
This research aims to reveal changes in the image of women in the novel by Motinggo Busye, which was published 30 years (1960 – 1990).
